The cherries weren’t my idea, but they are an idea. I think I first saw it done by Lily Vanilli from London, whose cake shop is tucked away in a little courtyard lined with discarded piping bag tips. It’s difficult to keep the glitter on a cherry and it’s around 14 dollars for a teaspoon of edible glitter. If you get the cheapest one, it isn’t actually edible. They sell it for food products, but you have to read the ingredients to find out it’s not for consuming. I buy the one that isn’t poison, even though like most toxic things, it shines the best.
